Lyrics "Go to sleep in dreamland on a big white fluffy cloud Drifting through the blue blue sky high above the clouds, I'll kiss you goodnight baby, though by your side I'll stay. The sandman will be coming soon, and then you'll drift away/You will be in dreamland, wherever that may be. Go to sleep my little one I'll be there when you awake. Buttercups and daisies will line your weary head. Go to sleep my little one,I'll be there when you awake" This lullaby is a modern one that Becky had learnt from a cassette when her children were young. In 2017 they were now at University. Becky was unable to trace the cassette and the details of the lullaby and during the project it was untraceable. A copyright licence was purchased for its use in the project and it was transcribed by Gabrielle Awre. PRS Licence LM0059855 The lullaby has since been traced to 'The Jamborees' listed as follows on youtube "The Jamborees - Provided to YouTube by The Orchard Enterprises Dreamland · The Jamborees 50 Favourite Lullabies, Soothing Songs & Nursery Chimes ℗ 2012 Duke Marketing Ltd Released on: 2011-07-01 Music Publisher: CHARLEY FARLEY Auto-generated by YouTube." Becky's version joins elements from two different verses and her tune and rhythms also differ in a few places from the youtube version; she has sung this many times and made it her own. She was brave to sing it to Gabrielle during a choir rehearsal of the 'Positive Note' Choir. This lullaby was popular with parents in the project.
